Hello people,My name is Prashanth Baradhi, I graduated B.E in 2020 from Nitte Mahalinga Adhyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology in Nitte, Mangalore. To be honest my grades weren't all that good and as a result I couldn't land even an interview let alone a job. I joined Emertxe in hopes of trying to bridge this gap. What I found was people don't judge you based on your past and they give equal attention to everyone so that concept is understood and not just memorized. The mentors themselves have such passion in their classes and labs that you find yourself wanting to learn more from them. In the end I was judged based on my skill level and found myself with a job at "Mettlesemi" a reputed EmbeddedDesign based company. Now I can now face my future head-on with the backing of conceptual based understanding and continued mentorship support to help me when I face difficulties. I thank everyone at Emertxe who helped propel me towards my future. I am grateful. Hope this helps anyone who is confused and needs some strength in deciding. All the best to your future and Dreams. God Bless.

Our course modules are designed in sync with industry needs. By having Qt skills in resume, you will be uniquely able to differentiate yourself in the job market.

Linux Systems

Linux has established itself as the primary choice when it comes to developing Embedded Systems. In this   introductory module is intended to get new programmers up and running with Linux embedded environment. Starting with basics of Linux and its features, this module dives into essential commands, Shell scripting and using tools like Vim. By getting to know powerful Linux commands for redirection and pipes, lay strong foundation to automate routine tasks.

By the end of the module you will be able to setup Linux platform and use it comfortably for your Embedded Systems development.

Advanced C and C++

Lot of book tells about what is programming. Many also tell how to write a program, but very few cover the critical aspect of translating logic into a program. Specifically, in this fast paced industry, when you don’t have time to think to program, this course comes really handy. It builds on the basics of programming, smooth sailing through the advanced nitty-gritty’s of the Advanced C like pointers, optimization, operators, memory management etc. U will also learn OOP features of C++ includes Objects, Classes, Polymorphism, Inheritance etc.

By the end of the module you will be able to translate the given problem statement into a working C / C++ program, which is foundational to build a working Embedded System.

Qt is an application development framework based on C++. Traditionally, C++ is the major programming language used to develop with Qt. Qt has been supporting script-based declarative programming with QML. QML is very easy to understand for anybody who is familiar with JavaScript as well as for all other developers who are familiar the basics of object oriented programming and have worked with other scripting languages.

One of the most popular ways of discovering new technologies is to walk through examples. Qt provides a large selection of examples and demos which are available in source code (check demos and examples directories in your installation). Most of the examples and demos are pre-compiled and integrated into the Examples and Demos Launcher.

At some point you should take some time to walk through the Qt technology guides and overviews provided in Qt documentation. Qt is simple to use, but you should have a basic understanding of the key concepts behind Qt to reveal its full power. There is a large selection of documents that are sorted into Qt documentation page. In our advanced embedded systems course you will get a complete hands-on perspective of Qt programming. This module is included as a part of our advanced embedded systems course.

What are pre-requisites to learn Qt programming?

Should have functional knowledge about C++. You do not need to be a C++ expert to begin. Qt simplifies many aspects of C++ development, making it a lot of fun. The overall development effort is minimal since Qt API are easy to understand and application functionality can be implemented with a smaller amount of code. C++ experts will find a lot of powerful API’s and tools in Qt which will make complicated things simple and new features easy to get done. Awareness of at-least on UI toolkit is a plus, but not required, Should be comfortable using a GNU/Linux distribution. To gain expertise in advanced embedded systems course Qt plays a very important role.
